
Alexandra Young
Alexandra earned her Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in 2018 and her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2021. During law school, she focused her internships and legal training on family law, developing a strong foundation in domestic relations and child-centered advocacy.
Alexandra has experience serving as a Guardian Ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children and gaining valuable insight into the complexities of family dynamics and sensitive legal matters. This experience informs her thoughtful, compassionate approach to representing clients during some of life’s most challenging transitions.
Alexandra focuses her practice on family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, paternity actions, guardianships, adoptions, and the drafting of prenuptial agreements. She is dedicated to helping clients understand their options and move forward with confidence and clarity.
Alexandra is actively involved in the Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar), where she serves on a subcommittee and remains engaged in the legal community. In recognition of her work and dedication to family law, she was named a Rising Star for 2025 as well as 2026.
Alexandra is committed to providing honest, responsive, and compassionate legal representation. She strives to guide clients with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication, always keeping their goals and families at the center of her work.
Outside of her practice, Alexandra enjoys reading, having dance parties with her son, and spending time with family. She also loves life with her two dogs, McKinney and Charlie, who keep her grounded and smiling.
