M. Lucille "Lucy" Anderson practices in the areas of business litigation and employment law.  She has a broad background in plaintiff and defense litigation for Fortune 500 companies, lending institutions, telecommunications companies and hospital systems. Lucy handles complex trade secrets litigation for insurance brokers and international oil services companies.

 Litigation

Lucy has taken more than twenty cases to conclusion, either to verdict, summary judgment or through appeal.  These cases have involved issues ranging from contract disputes to discrimination, including the appeal of a pregnancy discrimination case in which the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a trial court's judgment in favor of a large hospital and the United States Supreme Court subsequently denied certiorari.
